The combustion analysis is the cornerstone of every service. Using a calibrated Flue Gas Analyser (FGA), we measure carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2) and oxygen (O2) levels in the boiler's flue gases. These readings tell us whether the boiler is burning gas completely and safely. Abnormal readings indicate a fault that requires immediate attention.
We inspect the heat exchanger for cracks, scale buildup and signs of leakage. A cracked heat exchanger is a carbon monoxide risk and typically means the boiler requires replacement. Scale buildup reduces heat transfer efficiency and is treated during the service.
For landlord properties, our service includes a full CP12 gas safety inspection covering all gas appliances in the property — not just the boiler.
